"Sketch for the Banqueting House, which was to have been paired with a History of the Order of the Garter", annotation added by Horace Walpole to the corresponding entry in his copy of George Vertue, Catalogue and Description of King Charles I's Capital Collection.. (1757) in the Surveyor's office, St James's Palace. Horace Walpole adds that the work is in the Earl of Northington Collection and a print was made after it
